The space also serves as a living showroom for Mars Built—where the furniture and environment were created alongside the studio itself. Crafted from premium solid hardwoods, each piece is designed to support clarity in workflow, keeping the creative process fluid, organized, and distraction-free. Every element reflects the same hands-on approach: built, refined, and meant to be experienced. The studio features a 500 sq ft acoustically treated control room, a dedicated ISO room, and a spacious 1,200 sq ft live room that comfortably accommodates full-band sessions, rehearsals, and immersive recording experiences. An adjacent 750 sq ft kitchen and lounge area provides additional space to reset, collaborate, or host extended sessions. Beyond music production, the facility is intentionally designed for content creation—making it an ideal environment for filming, live sessions, interviews, and visual storytelling. Mars Built Studio also serves as a working boutique showroom for Mars Built, the design studio founded by designer, maker, and musician Esteban Chavez. Mars Built creates heirloom-quality furniture for musicians and studios, blending craftsmanship with sonic intention—many of which are integrated throughout the space. Located in a clean, secure, and accessible part of the Fashion District of DTLA, the studio offers abundant nearby parking, with free and easy access after 6pm.
